Upgrade Notes

Upgrade to 7

Keikai 7.0 replaces the Apache POI-based engine with the native Keikai Rust core engine. Most applications need no code changes; the ones that do are custom formula functions, direct HTML/PDF exporter usage, and a few library properties. See From 6 to 7 for the full upgrade guide.

Upgrade to 6

Keikai 6 has several incompatible changes. Here, we list those noticeable changes that you need to do when upgrading from the previous versions:

Depends on ZK 10

You have to upgrade the underlying ZK to 10, e.g. 10.0.0-Beta.

Rely on Apache POI 5

The previous zpoi is our custom ZK POI based on Apache POI. The main difference is the package name, all API are the same. Hence, if your code reference any classes from the previous zpoi, you need to replace the package org.zkoss.poi.* with org.apache.poi.* (See KEIKAI-684, KEIKAI-670)

Other API Changes

  • replace io.keikaiex.ui.dialog.Formulas.getFormulaInfos() with io.keikaiex.ui.dialog.Formulas.getFormulaInfosByCategory()
